FLINTERS Launches Training Program to Develop "Self-Propelled AI Talent" Capable of Engaging with AI and Driving Their Own Growth Cycles

Preventing blind acceptance of AI outputs to build an organization that cooperates with AI based on own judgment. Supporting early performance immediately after joining.

FLINTERS, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Masayuki Takano; hereinafter "FLINTERS"), a consolidated subsidiary of SEPTENI HOLDINGS CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yuichi Kouno; Securities Code: 4293), that provides Digital Transformation (DX) support for companies utilizing marketing data, has launched the "Self-Propelled AI Talent Development Training" targeting new graduates and young employees in their second year of joining the company.

This training supports the development of self-propelled AI talent who do not accept AI output results at face value, but instead judge their appropriateness in light of business objectives and proactively collaborate with AI.

■ Background: Lack of Literacy and Potential Risks Among Young Employees Due to the Proliferation of Generative AI

While the spread of generative AI has improved business efficiency, the following concerns are intensifying among young employees with limited practical experience:

Blindly accepting generative AI outputs: Using generative AI responses in documents or emails as-is, without scrutinizing the results.
Loss of thinking and growth opportunities: Depending on AI for organizing information and thoughts, which prevents the development of foundational thinking skills and leads to missed growth opportunities.
Invoking security risks: Carelessly inputting highly confidential information or personal data into generative AI services.

To address these challenges, FLINTERS provides an experiential workshop-style training program designed to help employees correctly understand the convenience and risks of AI, while cultivating the ability to think and judge for themselves.

■ Features of the Self-Propelled AI Talent Development Training

1. Cultivation of a self-propelled mindset to collaborate with AI through proactive judgment
Participants will learn methods to reach the necessary output by inputting appropriate business contexts into generative AI. At the same time, while understanding risks such as hallucinations*, they will acquire the perspective to evaluate AI outputs without accepting them at face value. By utilizing AI as a dedicated mentor, participants will cultivate the ability to act independently to maximize their own business performance.

2. Systematic acquisition of risk management
Based on actual use cases, participants will learn safe ways to utilize AI, including the handling of confidential and personal information. This fosters the ability to correctly perceive the risks behind the technology.

3. Acquisition of the ability to transfer skills to practical business
Participants will compare and verify business workflows before and after the AI implementation. Through hands-on training, they will understand the boundary between areas where AI excels and should be tasked, and the areas of judgment where humans must intervene. This enables them to build new workflows that integrate AI into existing tasks in an appropriate manner.

*Hallucination: A phenomenon where AI generates plausible-sounding but false or factually incorrect responses.

■ Structure of the Training Program

STEP 2: Design Methodology for AI Utilization
Learning methods to utilize AI as a thinking partner, as well as efficient information analysis and document creation methods.

    STEP 3: Practical Customized Exercises
Streamlining actual business workflows for each job type using AI. Aiming to reach a state where participants can continuously and proactively improve their work.
