Septeni Group's Milogos Launches "TARS," an AI Agent for Instant Data Analysis via Natural Language, Realizing the Democratization of Data Analytics
Milogos, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director : Kei Takamura; hereinafter "Milogos"), a consolidated subsidiary of Septeni Data Solutions, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Masayuki Takano), has launched TARS, an AI agent for data analysis that enables intuitive data exploration using natural language. This service will allow anyone to intuitively explore data using natural language.
In recent years, the importance of data utilization has rapidly increased among companies. However, while more than half of Japanese companies are engaging in data utilization, many are struggling to generate sufficient value from it*. This is largely due to the fact that extracting and analyzing necessary data requires specialized knowledge, but a lack of qualified personnel prevents the internal utilization of various data assets held by companies.
Milogos has primarily focused on supporting Digital Transformation (DX), particularly through the use of LINE, and has witnessed countless situations where "the data exists, and the tools exist, but immediate utilization is not possible." For instance, Milogos's clients repeatedly faced challenges in quickly executing initiatives because it took too long for them to extract the data needed to determine what kind of message to send to which customers via LINE to get a better response.
Milogos developed the data analysis AI agent TARS to address on-site challenges in various aspects of data utilization, not limited to LINE operations. With TARS, users without specialized knowledge can intuitively explore data using natural language prompts such as, "Compare the sales data by year," or, "Tell me the factors for that increase or decrease." The AI extracts the necessary data based on the chat-based conversation and provides accurate analysis results, taking each company's specific business context into account. This will enable faster, data-driven decision-making in business settings.
Moving forward, Milogos will support corporate data utilization through TARS, promoting data-driven decision-making and contributing to the enhanced competitiveness of our client companies. Milogos will also pursue further function expansion and strengthen integration with other tools to provide the optimal AI agent for a broader range of businesses.

■ Service Features: 3 Values Realized by TARS
1. Instant Data Exploration via Natural Language
Users can intuitively execute data analysis to meet various data utilization needs across departments, such as:
Sales: "I want to check the monthly transition of sales data."
Marketing: "I want to verify the effectiveness of the latest campaign."
Product Management: "I want to know the purchase trends by customer segment."
Anyone can perform instant data exploration without needing to generate SQL queries for data extraction or mastering complex operational procedures.
2. Context-Aware Insights Based on Company-Specific Understanding
TARS learns a company's industry characteristics and business background to provide essential insights, not just mere data extraction. Furthermore, by utilizing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology, it achieves contextual understanding by leveraging internal documents and knowledge.
3. Data Analysis in Everyday Communication Apps
TARS can be integrated with communication apps like Slack and Microsoft Teams. This allows users to execute data analysis within their daily workflow without the need to install any special tools.
