STVV, established in 1924, is a soccer club currently playing in the first division of the Belgian league. It has been working to strengthen the club and provide a pathway for Japanese players to top European clubs, as well as fostering the development of Japanese coaches and business staff to succeed in Europe, thus serving as a bridge between Japan and Belgium.
As a platinum sponsor, the Septeni Group will support the operation and growth of STVV through its expertise in the digital domain, contributing to the expansion and promotion of the sports market. Through this partnership, the group aims to realize its vision of "To be a place where people are empowered to create a new era," in collaboration with STVV, which actively cultivates players and connects their development to the club's competitiveness.
[Comment from Mr. Takayuki Tateishi, STVV CEO]
"I am honored to welcome Septeni Holdings as a partner in this memorable season as STVV celebrates its 100th anniversary. The Belgian league is becoming more competitive each year, with more than half of the clubs owned by foreign investors.
To bridge the budget gap with the big domestic clubs, it is important to stabilize sponsorship income and expand other sources of income. I believe that the support from Septeni Group, one of the leaders in digital marketing, will further strengthen STVV.
As a partner forging a bridge between Japan and Europe with the vision of 'From here to the world,' I am excited about our shared journey ahead."
